Folks can get behind-the-scenes experience of a firefighter.

On Thursday, Oct. 5, the Ripon Consolidated Fire District along with the Ripon Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an open house at Station No. 3 from 4 to 6 p.m.

“Be amazed by our incredible apparatus and equipment on display,” said the local fire district via social media.

 Included in this two-hour experience will be an exclusive tour along with the displays of the fire station located at 1705 N. Ripon Road.

Station No. 3 is a 6,500 square foot structure completed in 2014 made possible by then-redevelopment money.

The open house will allow for those in attendance to meet with the local firefighters, paramedics, and the fire district board of directors.
