Happy Daze is coming to Ripon.
That’s the full-line RV dealership based in Sacramento, featuring a large variety of motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels and sports utility trailers.
The Planning Commission Tuesday approved a major site plan permit for Happy Daze RV Sales & Service to construct a 39,848 square foot building by merging two parcels (about 9.79 acres) at Kamps Way and Canal Boulevard.
This is the first time that RV business will be doing a building from the ground up. Happy Daze has several dealerships throughout Northern California.
Plans for the building facing Kamps Way will include the following:
*Approximately 8,950 square feet of indoor display area.
*About 10,100 square feet of retail, part sales, offices, RV parts storage, conference room, break room and training area.
*An estimated 20,500 square feet of RV service consisting of 20 indoor service bays.
The mixed-use zone building will be in the area of the Ripon Crossing shopping center along Highway 99 and the Jack Tone Road Interchange, and will be located next to the Alpine Climbing Adventure Fitness Gym on the newly-opened Garrison Way frontage road.
“The exterior of the building will be a mixture of various metal sidings in different orientations and colors along with glass panel doors and windows,” Planning Director Ken Zuidervaart said.
The wrought Iron fencing along the building will be similar to that of nearby Boat Country.
Plans were prepared by Adam Lovern of RMW Architecture Interiors.
