Many of the families of eighth-grade students at New Haven Elementary School appeared to have enjoyed going above and beyond in decorating their vehicles for Wednesday’s drive-thru promotional exercises.
For example, Andrew Viri had various class photos from throughout the years plastered across the SUV.
Ernesto Sagredo honored his teachers on poster board with their names included on the learning tree.
Principal David O’Leary and his staff lined up in front of the school during the morning parade event, welcoming the return of the eighth graders, who spent the past few months away from school due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Home was their classrooms as school work was done online as part of distance learning.
The New Haven Class of 2020 provided closure, receiving their promotional certificates in drive-thru fashion.
