The promotion exercises last Tuesday at Neil Hafley Elementary School was return to the traditional event.

The eighth graders who made up the Class of 2022 celebrated their special day in the outdoor quad in front of family, friends, and guests.

Among the highlights were Brooklyn Carrillo and Ariel Orozco providing the guest and staff introductions along with welcoming those in attendance.

Juliana Cerda and Brianna Diaz Rodriguez leading in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Cristiano Barajas, Alesia Harris, Ivan Huerta and Jaden Huynh receiving their achievement awards.

And Jessica Backman, Kamani Martin and Ciera Treat sharing in the honors of the roll call speech.
