Live cumbia and mariachi bands along with local folklorico dancers are all part of this Thursday’s Music on Maple celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Sept. 19 event takes place  in the 100 block of Maple Avenue in downtown starting at 6 p.m. and running until 9 p.m.

The Manteca Community Services endeavor includes food trucks, local venders, a beer and wine garden, a classic low rider car show as well as games and activities.

*SENIOR HEALTH FAIR: The annual Senior Center Health & Wellness Fair is Friday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event features health and specialty vendors, giveaways, door prizes, bingo, and lunch.
