Autumn Nava’s Clean 4 Teens program collected these items and more to help young people in need in Ray of Hope.

Not too long ago, Autumn Nava started up Clean 4 Teens.

She’s the reigning Miss Watermelon Street Faire and part of Manteca Youth Focus currently working to help those in her age group in Ray of Hope.

That’s the local non-profit organization, assisting children who are referrals from local and government agencies such as the Child Abuse Prevention Agency and San Joaquin County Child Protective Services.

Clean 4 Teens is the ongoing project that Nava recently created.

“I have been working with Ray of Hope for quite some time,” she said via social media. “I have assisted with decorating lunch sacks, a back-to-school drive, clothing donation, and Jeans 4 Teens.

“I am especially touched by the plight of teens in our community who are trying to navigate poverty, homelessness, or other unimaginable crisis.”

This led her to the creation of Clean 4 Teens.

“My goal is to fill individual drawstring bags with the essential care items that teens need,” Nava said.

She’s seeking donation of toothbrushes, toothpaste, travel-sized bottles of mouthwash, dry shampoo, brushes, two pairs of sox, sunscreen, and feminine hygiene products (for girls), to name a few.

Nava has set up an Amazon link of items needed for Clean 4 Teens project. Click on to ghxstgirl.17 on Instagram, and on to her bio.

“I plan to collect donations all year, as this will be an ongoing project,” she added.
