Family fun was had by all at last Friday’s Harvest Festival at Shasta Elementary School.

That’s according to Jennifer Beggs, who helped chair the annual event consisting of a costume contest, food trucks, games, an Opportunity drawing, and pumpkin patch.

She’s a Resources Specialist Teacher at the Manteca Unified campus. For the past five years, Beggs has helped in continuing this pre-Halloween festivities at the school.

“The Harvest Festival has been around for a long time at Shasta School,” she noted.

The various games and booths were once again operated by teacher and staff.

The Shasta Pumpkin Patch was also part of the event, kicking off a day earlier.

“A huge thank you to Fonseca Farms for donating the pumpkins,” said the Shasta Hornets via social media.
