If you think The Atherton’s two bedroom, two bathroom apartment units that are now being ready for move-ins at the end of the month are pricey, wait until Towne Centre Apartments in Lathrop open.
The 1,100-square-foot unit will go for $2,495 a month when pre-leasing starts in May at the 84-unit complex on Golden Valley Parkway at Town Centre Drive.
That’s $165 more than the same size 2-2 floorplan is renting for at The Atherton being built just east of Bass Pro Shops on Atherton Drive in Manteca.
As of Tuesday, the 2-2 unit in the Lathrop complex that is targeted for mid-July move-ins is the most expensive among 2-2 apartments in Tracy, Manteca, and Lathrop.
At The Aspire in Tracy across from Winco Foods 2-2 units are going for $2,175. The highest priced 2-2 in Tracy is $2,455 in The Gateway complex on Grantline Road.
The most expensive one bedroom in the three cities is $2,125 at The Gateway in Tracy. Coming in behind that is The Atherton at $2,330, The Aspire at $1,990 and the Town Centre at $1,925.
The Atherton has the priciest studio at $1,875.
To put the Town Centre’s 2-2 rent in perspective, the priciest for a 2-2 in Livermore is Mill Spring Park at $2,784. The top price in Pleasanton for a 2-2 is $3,410 at Vintage Apartments. The winner for the nosebleed rent for a 2-2 is $3,920 at Crescent Village in San Jose.
The apartments referenced are all either new in the last year or so, are just being completed, or are the newest apartment complexes in their respective communities.
