Lathrop Police lieutenant is from the Atherton force

Lt. Krystal Pronske is the latest addition to the Lathrop Police Department.

She was welcomed aboard Wednesday via social media.

Pronske spent 15 years at the Atherton Police Department, serving as a sergeant and overseeing the K-9 Unit.

She was a defensive tactics and arrest/control instructor along with a field training officer.

Part of her duties also included the crisis negotiation team and working as a recruit training officer for class SB159.

In addition, she has a Master's degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Boston University, a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Cal State Hayward, and completed the Sherman Block Leadership Institute Class 508.
