The City of Lathrop will be conducting a Dog Training Workshop today.
This one-day Dog Obedience course will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Generation Center Amphitheater, 450 Spartan Wy. Cost is $60.
Bone-A-Fide training is handling Dog Obedience 2024, which also include a variety of sessions for both puppies and dogs.
The following classes (cost is $140 per session) include the following:
· Puppy 1 (between 12 to 18 weeks) – The first of the two sessions will run each Tuesday, from Feb. 6 through March 12 at the Community Center, 15557 Fifth St., beginning at 6:30 p.m. The second session (same times, locations) will go from March 19 through April 16.
· Puppy 2 (between 18 to 24 weeks) – These sessions is offered on Mondays at the Community Center, from Feb. 5 through March 11, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The next session will take place from March 18 through April 15.
· Basic Dog Obedience / Canine Good Citizen – The first of the five-week course is scheduled each Saturday, beginning at 9:30 a.m., from Feb. 3 through March 2, at the General Center Amphitheater. The next session will run from March 16 through April 13.
· Advanced Dog Obedience / Canine Good Citizen – These 6:30 p.m. Thursday classes will take place at the Generations Center Amphitheater, from April 11 through May 9.
In addition, a New-Pet Tech First Aid / CPR one-day workshop will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Generations Center. Cost is $125.
