Lathrop National Night Out called a huge success

National Night Out in Lathrop was a huge success.

The City of Lathrop Police Department mentioned that via social media on Thursday.

“We had an incredible time connecting with our neighbors and enjoying all the fun activities,” police noted.

Local police partnered with the City of Lathrop, Lathrop-Manteca Fire, San Joaquin County Probation, and the SJC District Attorney’s Office on NNO on Tuesday.

Held on the first Tuesday of August, NNO is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

In Lathrop, police, firefighters, city officials, and elected leaders once again made their rounds to the various gatherings and block parties in town, giving “a big shoutout” to those who organized and hosted the neighborhood events.

“Your efforts truly made the night memorable,” police added.
