July 4 BLD event tickets $50 if they are available that day
july fourth

If you have a desire to attend the family Independence Day  celebration the City of Manteca is staging in partnership with YupUp at the Big League Dreams sports complex on July 4, you might not want to wait until the last minute to buy tickets.

The tickets, if there are any left the day of the event, will be $50 at the gate for each person 2 years and older. Those under 2 are free.

Presale tickets on the YupUp app are $35.

If you buy an adult ticket at the presale price before the end of Sunday, June 1,  you will get a free ticket for a child up to 10 years of age.

Keep in mind the event from 3 to 9 p.m. is programmed with activities for all ages with each of the six fields sporting a different theme.

The price of admission covers all activities with a few exceptions such as the mobile video gaming trucks and pony rides.

A bit of a clarification. The ax throwing will be employing a rubber ax in keeping with them family theme.

The YupUp Family Fest will include:

*Toddler Town featuring soft play features, bubble show, and such.

*Animal Kingdom with a petting zoo, pony rides, and exotic reptiles handled by Python Ron.

*Game & Chill with video gaming trucks, Gellyball, photo booth, obstacle course and more.

*Kids Kraze with numerous inflatables, face painting, slides, and a rock climbing wall.

*Lounge lawn with a live music, ax throwing, oversized lawn games, and such.

*Food & vendors with food trucks, and booths.

That is just a sampling.

Aerial fireworks will follow at 9:30 p.m.
