Interim being dropped from Sealy’s LPD police chief title starting today

Stephen Sealy is officially assuming the role of Lathrop Police Chief today.

Transitioning from his role as interim chief since September, Sealy has played a pivotal role in upholding the safety and security of the Lathrop community.

 “I am deeply honored and humbled by the opportunity to serve as Lathrop's Chief of Police,” said Chief Sealy. “This role is much more than a position to me; it’s a commitment to the safety and well-being of our community”

“I am grateful for the trust placed in me and look forward to continuing to work alongside our dedicated officers and the community to enhance our city's public safety practices.”

Under his guidance, the Lathrop Police Department has continued to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to public safety, setting new standards of excellence.

The city leadership has expressed full confidence in Sealy's ability to steer the department forward, enhancing the city's reputation for public safety excellence.
