Hope’s Closet at 1030 W. Yosemite Ave. is in need of donations, asking for infant / toddler and newborn clothes.

Hope’s Closet is in need of donations.

The thrift store of Ray of Hope Children’s Crisis Services is located at 1030 W. Yosemite Ave., Manteca.

Hope’s Closet recently listed infant / toddler clothing along with newborn (5T sizes) among the top needs while also accepting the clothes for preemies to high school ages; shoes; new toys (no stuffed animals); new undergarments; infant / toddler equipment (must be brought within the past two years); and new and used books.

Not accepted are stained or unlaundered clothing; shoes with holes or excessive wear; used toys; used undergarment; and garage clean-outs, to name a few.

Donation hours are from 12 noon to 3 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. The daily limit is two large bags or totes.

The goal of Hope’s Closet is to offer affordable and quality goods in a retail setting in a welcoming environment.

Executive Director Laura Vieira-Saunders mentioned that Ray of Hope referrals are allowed to shop freely in a fun business surrounding tailored to their age group.

Regular business hours for Hope’s Closet are Wednesday through Fridays, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
