The Pomp and Circumstance was back at the Golden West Community Gymnasium.

In this case, the eighth-grade promotion ceremony took place at the Manteca Unified campus.

Principal Tony Shah welcomed those in attendance. Included were 71 members from the Class of 2022.

They received their certificates for promotion from site staff.

Prior to that, classmate jack Corson opened the special event by leading in the Pledge of Allegiance. Eduardo Ramirez followed up with the presentation of “Looking in the Past.”

Caydan Soliz did likewise with “Looking Forward” while Jasmin Hidalgo finished up with “A Memoir to Us.”
