The “Hot off the Grill” Food Truck Frenzy is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 21, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Woodward Park.

The event will feature food, music, and family fun.

The featured band is Gunpowder & Lace.

The band is fronted by Katelyn Holte,  whose powerful range enables her to cover anything from classic Linda Ronstadt to Carrie Underwood or Martina McBride.

She is joined onstage by Roger Gill (lead vocals/bass) and David Anthony (lead vocals/acoustic guitar);  these two are able to deliver anything from Merle Haggard and Hank Williams Jr. to Alan Jackson, George Strait, Blake Shelton and Jason Aldean. The group's well-seasoned instrumentalists include Erik Khamis (drums), J.J. Foxxx (lead guitar), and Gary Roda (pedal steel and six-string guitars).
