Doctors Hospital of Manteca gave Dr. Karl Wolf a send-off to remember on Wednesday.

A special reception at the facility consisting of family, friends, and colleagues was held in his honor.

They honored and paid tributed to Dr. Wolf, who retired after serving 50 years at DHM.

He was also presented with certificates of recognition from Manteca Mayor Gary Singh and the Manteca Chamber of Commerce.

Other speakers included DHM CEO Eleze Armstrong, CNO Tina Burch, Dr. Anil Sain, Dr. Howard Miller, and Director of Medical Staff Marla Terrell.

All told, about 80 people were in attendance for this celebration.

Dr. Wolf reflected on his time at the hospital, pointing out that the people of Doctors Hospital of Manteca are what made his time at the hospital a privilege.

The longtime family medicine physician started working at DHM in September 1973.

Dr. Wolf had since dedicated himself to the patients, hospital and community.

For that, the hospital will be forever grateful for Dr. Wolf’s incredible service, compassion and hard work for so many years.
