STOCKTON — The San Joaquin County Fair is this weekend with plenty of fun, food, and entertainment.
Featured today (Saturday) is Too-Short and The Mary Jane Girls taking the stage at the grandstand.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. concert is separate from the admission price that’s necessary to get into the fairgrounds – located at 1658 S. Airport Way, Stockton – staring at $35 grandstand and $75 VIP.
The 2024 SJ County Fair will once again include carnival rides, a circus, livestock animals, food vendors, and SJ Wine & Beer Walk, which will also be held today from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Those participating must be age 21 with a valid ID. Cost is $30 (separate from the admission price).
General admission is $10 at the gate, $7 for seniors age 62 and older, and $5 for children age 6 to 12. Children 5 and under are free.
Parking is $10.
The SJ County Fair concludes on Sunday.
Jr. livestock & auction
Students from the various FFA and 4-H clubs will be exhibiting their farm animals – sheep and goats, dairy, beef, and swine, to name a few – at the San Joaquin AgFest Junior Show and Auction scheduled from June 8 through June 15 at the SJC fairgrounds.
Included are those from Manteca, Ripon, Lathrop, and Weston Ranch.
