A request to construct two new retail building along Arc Way and the Frontage Road was recently submitted to the City of Ripon’s Department of Planning and Economic Development.
That’s the area adjacent Sekhon and Son Trucking Inc. and the newly relocated Ripon Christian Schools bus garage.
Plans for the Arc Way Commercial Center at 769 Frontage Rd. consists of a gas station, convenience store, and separate retail building on 1.61-acre – or 70,132 square feet – parcel.
Building No. 1, according to the site plan prepared by Bill Johnston Architects, is a convenience store, possibly a Circle K, at 5,198 square feet, with an outdoor patio separating the 4,320-square-foot Building No. 2 retail space.
The project, which also consists of a six-dispenser fuel canopy, would be able to accommodate 51 parking spaces, a loading space, and several electric vehicle charging stations.
The application for this project is scheduled to go before the Ripon Planning Commission at the Feb. 18 meeting.
