Trustees of the Ripon Unified School District are scheduled Monday to sign off on a pre-construction services agreement with CT Brayton & Sons, Inc. on the Career Technical Education Project.
That's a two-story building planned for Ripon High.
At the 7 p.m. open session in the City of Ripon Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave., the school board will look to approve a lease-leaseback agreement during pre-construction of the project with CT Brayton.
The agreement is not for design-build services.
The Escalon-based CT Brayton & Sons and RUSD have worked together on other projects in recent years including the modernization efforts at Colony Oak Elementary School.
In other agenda items:
- Trustees will recognize the speech contest finalists who took part in 2021-22 RUSD event consisting of sixth- through- 12th- grade speakers.
- Principal Dana Phelps of Ripon Elementary School will spearhead a presentation on the school.
- Director of Maintenance and Operation Andy Strickland will provide an update on facilities around the school district.
- Student Trustee Lydia Waters will give an update of what's going on at the campuses throughout RUSD.
