Each month, the Ripon Unified School District celebrates attendance at the five elementary school sites, Ripon High, and even the alternative education site, Harvest High.

Director of Student Services Lisa Mazza praised Harvest High’s steady numbers – a rate of 99.45 percent for month 7 (February) – while also acknowledging Weston Elementary School and Colony Oak Elementary School at Monday’s Ripon Unified school board meeting.

Weston had the “best of” rate among the comprehensive schools last month at 95.91 percent.

Colony Oak was at 95.91 percent, showing the most improvement while exceeding last year’s attendance rate.

As far as enrollment, Ripon High had a count of 1,005 students during the reporting period of Feb. 3 through Feb. 28.

Ripona Elementary tallied 458 students during the same span, followed by Park View (453), Ripon El. (444), Colony Oak (444), and Weston (438).

The Independent Study program and Harvest had enrollment numbers of 29 and 10, respectively, for February.
