Church safety seminar set for Manteca
CRPA logo

A church safety seminar is taking place in Manteca.

The South Delta Chapter of the California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA ) and Manteca’s Crossroads Community Church will host veteran retired police officer and church safety seminar expert Jimmy Meeks on Friday, Feb. 23, at the church on Moffat Boulevard.

The evening will include food, fellowship, and instruction that will help worshiping congregations and other large gathering organizers and attendees to remain secure against the modern-day threats they face.

Though this is a “church safety seminar,” it’s relevant and applicable for anyone concerned about violence that occurs anywhere crowds gather: shopping malls, schools, businesses, etc.

Organizers indicated  police officers, first responders, church safety teams, teachers, and individuals among others will benefit from attending.

The seminar and dinner is sponsored by the South Delta CPRA chapter.

The $25 per person cost includes dinner.

The Feb, 23 event takes place at the Crossroads Community Church, 1505 Moffat Blvd., Manteca.

Dinner is from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

The seminar is 6 to 9:30 p.m.
