Christmas scrolls feature wishes of needy kids
good deeds

The Christmas Guardian Angels Scrolls will become available at participating businesses beginning this weekend.

That’s the Ray of Hope Children’s Services program for holiday wishes to local needy youngsters.

For members of the community – friends, family or local businesses – this is an opportunity to provide one, two, or even all three wishes on items on the wish-list scroll.

The Christmas Guardian Angels scrolls can be picked up at Collective Hair Salon, Chit Chat Café, Starbucks (Union Road or Hulsey Way), Peace Love Shave Ice, and Chick-fil-A.

The purchase of gift items can be dropped off at the Ray of Hope Corporate Office at 113 W. Yosemite Ave., Manteca, or at the following authorized locations:

• Manteca Police Department, 1001 W. Center St.

• Manteca Fire Department headquarters, 1154 S. Union Rd.

• Cabral Chrysler Jeep, 1145 W. Yosemite Ave.

The youngsters in Ray of Hope are those who are referrals from agencies such as the San Joaquin County Child Protective Services, Child Abuse Protection Council, and Human Service Agency, to name a few.
