Christmas in July event on July 26 helps kids in need

The event hosted by Central Valley Association of Realtors will take place on Friday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Manteca Transit Center, 220 Moffat Blvd. Included will again be the Christmas Can Tree.

Cost for Christmas in July is $25 per person, with all proceeds benefiting Ray of Hope Children’s Services.

The event is open to the public.

Last year’s event featured an attendance of 100 or so from the various organizations.

Brunch and coffee will be served along with entertainment.

“Get your tickets today and help support the amazing charity, Ray of Hope Children’s Center,” said CVAR via social media.

Ray of Hope is a local non-profit that provides assistance to the neediest children and youth with food, clothing, school supplies, etc.

These youngsters are referrals from local and government agencies such as the Children Abuse Prevention Agency, San Joaquin County Protective Services, and the local school districts, to name a few.
