Second Harvest of the Greater Valley is staging its Annual Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser on Saturday, April 12, at the Manteca Transit Center, 220 Moffat Blvd.

Guests will enjoy an evening of prizes, raffles, live music, photo ops, and of course, chili all while making an impact.

Tickets to the 5:30 p.m. event are $20 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Second Harvest of the Greater Valley’s essential food assistance programs, including the Summer Meal Program, which provides over 60,000 meals to children in need across San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties.

As the need for food assistance increases, fundraisers like Chili Cook-Off help ensure that individuals and families in need receive the support and resources they need.

“This event is a great way to bring the community together for an evening of great food and entertainment while making an impact,” said Jennifer Mora, Director of Development and Communications at Second Harvest of the Greater Valley.

“Whether you’re attending, competing, or sponsoring, your support helps make a difference.” Businesses and organizations are encouraged to get involved through sponsorship opportunities.

Sponsorship benefits include brand recognition, promotional exposure, and event perks such as signage, digital advertising, and complimentary tickets.

Every contribution directly supports food distribution programs that provide meals to our neighbors in need throughout San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties.

Come for the chili, stay for the cause — support, give back, and make a difference! For sponsorship details, ticket purchases, and additional information, please visit: www.localfoodbank.org/chili-cook-off
