Yang was a squadron commander and a member of the JROTC Raiders, a competitive program that challenges the physical endurance, mental strength, and leadership of each cadet.

She’s the daughter of Jeevan Kaur and Gurinder Singh.

Banwait is product Manteca Unified School District, attending elementary school at Mossdale School.

This past year, she played of Spartans’ flag football team. She also played basketball and found the pole vault to her liking on the LHS track and field team.

In addition, she was an officer in CSF and the Interact Club.
