The first of many graduations at the Manteca Unified School District will kick-off on Wednesday, May 14, with Calla High.

Students of the district’s alternative education site will march into Delta College’s Atherton Auditorium beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the traditional playing of ‘Pomp & Circumstance.’

More commencement ceremonies are scheduled the following day – Thursday, May 15 – for those at the Manteca Adult Transition (10 a.m., RESC Building at the District Office Complex), Manteca Adult School (6 p.m. District Office quad), and New Vision High (7 p.m., multi-purpose room).

Promotional exercises at the elementary school sites along with the high school graduations will take place during the busy week of May 19 through May 23.

The schedule is as followed:

• Monday, May 19 – 9 a.m., Brock Elliott elementary (courtyard), Joseph Widmer (multi-purpose room), Lincoln (multi-purpose room); 10 a.m., French Camp (multi-purpose room); 3 p.m., August Knodt (gym).

• Tuesday, May 20 – 9 a.m. Joshua Cowell (courtyard), New Haven (gym); 10 a.m., Lathrop Elementary (multi-purpose room); 1:15 p.m., Veritas (cafeteria); 3:30 p.m., Woodward (gym).

• Wednesday, May 21 – 9 a.m., George Komure (multi-purpose room), Mossdale (multi-purpose room), Neil Hafley (courtyard), Stella Brockman (courtyard); 4 p.m., Nile Garden (multi-purpose room).

• Thursday, May 22 – 9 a.m., McParland (courtyard), Shasta (multi-purpose room); 10 a.m., Great Valley (multi-purpose room); 11 a.m., Golden West (gym); 1:15 p.m., Sequoia (multi-purpose room); 6 p.m., Lathrop High (University of the Pacific); 7 p.m., Sierra High (Daniel Teicheira Memorial Stadium).

• Friday, May 23 – 7 p.m., Weston Ranch (WRHS stadium), East Union High (Dino Cunial Field), Manteca High (Guss Schmiedt Field).
