Dominique Brown was named Thursday as the new Veritas Elementary School principal.
As Brown steps into her role as Veritas Elementary Principal, her top priority is student learning and meeting grade-level standards.
With over 20 years of experience in education, Brown brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her new role.
Brown began her career as an educator at Stockton Unified School District.
Throughout her tenure, she has held several key leadership positions, including assistant principal at both the elementary and high school levels and principal of a K-8 dual immersion school.
Brown recently earned her doctorate, specializing in Educational Leadership, a testament to her commitment to excellence in education.
She is committed to supporting and enhancing effective teaching and learning strategies so that all students continue to receive a high-quality education tailored to their individual needs.
Brown states she looks forward to joining “a school culture where every student feels valued and supported, focusing on equity and inclusion to ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed.”
