Bluey & Bingo Bash: Kida Night Out Nov. 16

A series of once a month skate boarding workshops are being conducted by Manteca Recreation & Community Services.

The free workshops take place the first Saturday of each month in November, December, and January at the Manteca skate park along the Tidewater Bikeway accessed from Center Street and Elm Avenue near the railroad crossing.

The first workshop is this Saturday. Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. until noon.

It is open to children ages 5 and 12 with any skill levels.

It will cover fundamentals such as dropping in, kick push, balance, and more.

The professional instructor has 20 years of skate experience.

Space is limited. Register online.

Veterans Day

appreciation lunch

The Senior Advisory Committee is hosting a Veterans Day Appreciation lunch for active duty military and veterans on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Manteca Senior center, 290 Cherry Lane.

There will also be gift bags.

The event is free but you must RSVP at the front desk of the senior center by the end of today or call 209 456-8650.

 

Bluey & Bingo Bash:

Kida Night Out Nov. 16

 The Manteca Recreation Kids’ Night Out theme on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. is “Bluey and Bingo Bash.”

The event is designed for kids aged 2 to 5, offering a fun, themed social setting for little ones to enjoy activities and make new friends

Your toddler will be immersed in the world of Bluey and Bingo along with Bluey themed crafts and games, music and Bluey episodes.

Parents can take a night off while their children enjoy this kid friendly event

City staff will be on site to ensure a safe and fun environment. For parents that wish to stay on site during the event but not participate, a parent lounge will be offered.

Dress your kids in their favorite Bluey attire.

The cost is $20 per participant.
