The 2025 Almond Blossom Festival Queen / Miss Ripon candidates will return to the stage – or in this case, the runway – on Thursday for the annual Fashion Show.

This highly anticipated event celebrating 63 years of the Almond Blossom Festival and Miss Ripon competition will take place at the Calvary Reformed Church, 741 2nd St., beginning at 6 p.m.

The queen candidates – Camden Downs, Hayden Harper, Sophia Hernandez, Samantha Lackey, Sage Petersen, Jayden Quayle, Mckenzie Spear, Rhianna Villanueva, Emme Wilbur, and Addyson Wilmshurst – can be seen in spirit wear, a first day of school outfit, and formal wear.

The event will also include light desserts, coffee, and more coupled with a time to mingle from 5:30 to 6 p.m.

Each of the princesses were required to sell raffle tickets, take part in a judges’ interview, essay writing, and were involved in the recent speech contest.

The winner will be crowned during the kickoff of Almond Blossom Festival Week, from Feb. 20 through Feb. 23.

Local business California Rock Crushers, celebrating 25 years of crushing it, is serving as this year’s grand marshal.
