The Terraces at Bethany Homes is a three-story, 82-unit residential senior living facility planned for Vera Avenue and West Main Street in Ripon.

The Ripon City Council on Tuesday approved an agreement with Carl M. Maxey Architect to perform an aesthetics study, not to exceed $13,600 (cost had since been reimbursed by Bethany Homes, according to Planning Director Ken Zuidervaart).

He noted that the City has been working with Bethany Home to process the application for the project consisting of 106,894 square feet and associated amenities at 816 W. Main Street and 200 Vera Avenue.

Staff determined that an aesthetic study would benefit the Planning Commission and City Council in their decision regarding this three-story project.

The City requested a scope and fee from Carl M. Maxey Architect to provide a visual simulation of the project and immediate surrounding neighborhoods.

This aesthetic study is expected to be complete in approximately 60 days from the approval of this Agreement.

San Joaquin County is the top walnut producing County in California while Stanislaus County comes in at No. 5.
Almonds get all the glory. They burst into white and pink flowers just as winter’s grip starts slipping. They are synonymous with San Joaquin Valley residents being able to resume basking a bit outside as the calendar nears March and Mother Nature ends her cold treatment as low temperatures stop venturing into the 30s.
