The fundraiser — which comes on the heels of the telethon — is the second largest local source of income for the club that provides programs for 1,700 youth. The telethon raised $109,000, some $41,000 short of the goal.
This year, they are also serving marinated crab along with the usual plain crab fare, pasta prepared by DeVega Brothers, salad, bread and wine.
They have added live music this year featuring the 2008 Manteca Idol winner and the band that are donating their services for free.
There is also a drawing and an auction.
Tickets may be purchased at the Manteca Boys and Girls Club. They will also be available at a later date at German Glas Werks on East Yosemite Avenue.
Or to reserve a ticket, call ticket chairpersons Connie Meintasis (823-5828) or Arlene Seavor at (823-5356.)
The price is $35 for the dinner/dancing tickets. You’ll enjoy a baked potato, salad, wine, bread, and of course, all you can eat crab. For tickets call Stacie 823-4025.
Proceeds support Escalon High scholarships, Key Club, Builder’s Club, and the youth of the Escalon community.
Tickets are $40 each.
