Premier Community Credit Union offers free youth classes

STOCKTON — Premier Community Credit Union will be holding its 2nd annual free Financially Fit Camp in partnership with Junior Achievement.

This event is open to the public and you do not have to be a member to sign your children up. This camp is open to all students and is being held to empower youth to own their future economic success.

Program dates and times are as follows:

• Program: JA More than Money: 3rd – 5th Grade – 10 a.m. to noon, Sept. 26-27

JA More than Money teaches students about earning, spending, sharing and saving money, and businesses they can start or jobs they can perform to earn easy money.

• Program: JA Economics for Success: 6th-8th Grade – 9 a.m. to noon, Sept. 28-30

JA Economics for Success provides practical information about personal finance and the importance of identifying education and career goals based on a student’s skills, interests and values. It also demonstrates the economic benefits of staying in school.

• Program: JA Be Entrepreneurial: High School

JA Entrepreneurial challenges students to start an entrepreneurial venture while still in high school by developing the essential components of a business plan.

The programs are free and will be held at the Premier Community Credit Union Administration building at 3315 W. Benjamin Holt Drive in Stockton. Please RSVP to Premier Community Credit Union at (209) 235-1100.
