Marissa Cuellar, a 2007 graduate of Manteca High School, has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from Holy Names University in Oakland.

Marissa, a former standout softball player at Manteca High, and in the Manteca Youth Softball Association, earned her way to Holy Names University through a softball scholarship.

She plans to continue her education by enrolling in law school and eventually plans on working as a District Attorney.

Marissa is the daughter of Eddie and Liz Cuellar of Manteca.  She is the sister of Melissa Cuellar and Michelle Saavedra and granddaughter of Joe and Annie Cuellar of Manteca and Mary Chinchillas of San Diego.
