The 209 All Stars Band is playing at Eagle’s Nest Harley at 13900 on South Harlan Road in Lathrop on Sunday, July 17, from noon to 4 p.m.

The free show is in addition to the acoustic show that band member Tim Helbling performs every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m., at Rooster Juice, 1325 W. Yosemite Ave., in the Manteca Marketplace.

The group plays a dozen genres of modern and classic Top 40 ranging  from Johnny Cash to Michael Jackson.

Helbling (aka FunkyTim) is a longtime songwriter. He has created music for most of his life. In 2008, became a full time musician. He performs over a hundred shows each year all over Northern California.

In 2008 Helbling formed “The 209 All Stars” with Justin Jones (lead guitar) and Allen Mehlhaff. They were later joined by Rudy Escajeda (vocals) and Brandon Michael (bass guitar).  On drums since 2009 is Jim Ayala.
