Lodi Lake has something for practically everyone.

For some of the locals, this is their go-to place to unwind and have fun.

“You can bring a kayak, fishing boat, or jet ski and enjoy the water or put on your hiking or tail-running shoes and enjoy the twists and turns,” said Robert in his online review of Lodi Lake.

Let’s not forget about swimming.

Lodi Lake Beach is nice place in the 209 to beat the summer heat. Featured here is a large sandy area for plenty of fun in the sun not to mention a tiny tot water feature and a spray pool.

No alcohol or glass containers are allowed on the beach as well as flotation devices or children in diapers – youngsters must wear disposable swim pants available for purchase.

Cost for the beach is $3 adults, $1.50 for those ages 3 to 7, and free to youngsters 2 and under.

Lodi Lake has nature programs that focus on topics related to the area and the Mokelumne River (see: www.kgrant@lodi.gov).

For those interesting in boating or kayaking, Lodi Lake offers lessons and rentals. There’s also a evening kayak class at the Headwaters Boat House.

In addition, Lodi Lake offers charter boat tours of the Mokelumne River. This 90-minute package is for up to 10 people and is ongoing during the summer.

Lodi Lake is located at 1101 W. Turner Rd.
