Although it is corporately owned by a company boasting 166 stores in 26 states, Boot Barn in Turlock does not seem that way, as store manager Brooke Carey strives to provide a one-on-one shopping experience more likened to a small business.

“Our customer service is why people choose to shop here for their western and work wear,” said Carey. “Because we are such a small store, we do have that ability to offer that one-on-one personal service by explaining products to you and making sure you get exactly the right fit you need.”

“I’ve had multiple customers tell me that they would come back solely for the customer service,” Carey added.

For over ten years, Boot Barn in Turlock has paired this great customer service with quality western and work wear. According to Carey, the store has everything for each and every customer that walks in the door, including jeans, belts —a nd of course — boots.

Boot Barn has an extensive selection of jeans for men, women, and children. The store consistently stocks customer favorites such as Wrangler, Ariat, Cinch, and Miss Me brand jeans.

Carey also described the wide range of belts offered at Boot Barn, all of which are made from different vendors. Brands offered at the store include Tony Lama, Silver Creek, and Nocona.

“Although we’re a smaller store, all Boot Barns have the capability of ordering and getting anything anytime,” reported Carey. “I can pull stock from any Boot Barn at any moment and special order from vendors directly. If we don’t have something here, we are not just limited to my store.”

Additionally, Boot Barn lives up to its name by hosting an all-encompassing assortment of boots for all sizes.

“We have a wide variety of boots, anything from Western to work. We carry all the main brands,” commented Carey.

To back up Carey’s comment, the store prides itself in an array of western, work, motorcycle, equestrian, outdoor, and casual boots. Boot Barn also provides the products customers need to take care of their boots, including boot polish cream and leather care spray.

“Boot Barn has also recently come out with its own private label as well,” added Carey. “For women, it’s called Shyanne and for men it’s called Cody James. It’s exclusive only to Boot Barn and they have boots, apparel, jeans, and jewelry.”

Carey also reported that the retailer has partnered with Brad Paisley this year, who she describes as the face of Boot Barn. His line, called Moonshine Spirit, offers different styles of boots, jeans, apparel, jewelry, and hats.
