The annual Christmas Light Parade through downtown Ripon will take place Thursday, beginning at 6 p.m.
The theme is “Oh Christmas Tree” with PG&E serving as the grand marshal.
Co-sponsoring the Christmas Light Parade are the Ripon Chamber of Commerce, the Ripon Police Department and the Ripon Consolidated Fire District.
The starting point will once again take place at Almond Valley Christian Reformed Church, 333 S. Wilma Ave.
“Bring your chairs, hot chocolate, and smiles and watch the light parade pass through downtown Ripon,” said the Ripon Chamber of Commerce on social media.
From there, the parade will travel along Wilma Avenue to West Main Street, and will then go east through historic downtown to Industrial Avenue.
In addition, the parade will showcase the 10 princesses – Samantha Lackey, Mckenzie Spear, Emme Wilbur, Addyson Wilmshurst, Rhianna Villanueva, Sage Petersen, Hayden Harper, Camden Downs, Jayden Quayle, and Sophia Hernandez – vying for the title of the upcoming Almond Blossom Queen / Miss Ripon.
