City workers assigned to a job in an empty field in the 700 block of North Grant Avenue Thursday morning watched as a thief jumped into their white, Sierra GMC 3500 pickup truck and drive it away.The white truck with a city seal on its doors, a black lumber rack and a diamond tool box in the bed was reported missing about 10:30 a.m. Police are looking for the vehicle with a license number of 024886.
